I'm just happy that there's another country embarrassing themselves on the world stage, and not just the UK at the moment.

Trump is the president of the United States, I don't see any reason not to admit that.
      Yup, same thing.

And yes, it does seem a bit childish to repeat the goofy refrain "not my president". Yes he is. He was legally elected into the office no matter how much we wish that wasn't the case. Suck it up and move on. Him being president shouldn't effect who we are and how we interact with those around us. Just keep doing your best to be the best you can be, and don't worry about those things that are out of your control. There is plenty we can do in our own communities that will help those in need regardless of who is president.

True, unfortunately the disgusting, thieving, treasonous, creep of a demogogue that Trump is, he is all of our president. Thanks republicans! Hopefully we will get rid of him before he does any more damage to our democratic institutions and becomes the Dictator he set out to be.

You need to thank your own party, who put up perhaps the only person whom Trump could have beat.

The fact that the person you describe actually beat Hillary shows how bad Hillary was as a candidate. Why, she should have been FIFTY POINTS AHEAD!!!!

You make him sound almost as bad as the four presidents preceding him.

What makes you see him as being anything like a dictator? Wasn't Obama more characteristic of this by enacting tons of executive orders resulting in circumvention of congress whose responsibility is to make laws?

In numbers Obama didn't issue that many executive orders, rather it was what and how much they covered and how far-reaching they were that was so alarming. Fortunately the SCOTUS declared a large number of them unconstitutional.

No, it shows how tribal, politically unsophisticated, and easily taken in by demogoguery so many americans are.

If you pay attention to what he is doing, what he is trying to do, then you would know why I think what I do. Now that he has you under his spell he is attempting, with your support, to undermine democracy itself.

"Don't believe the media, don't believe the judges, don't believe the FBI, don't believe the Special councel, it's the deep state, don't believe any of them, just believe me."

He's nominating, appointing, people to positions who either have no understanding of those positions or who don't even believe those agency's should exist in the first place. In other words he's not appointing professional, ethical people, he's only appointing loyalist's, losers that he can control.

Put those two things together and what do you have?

There's educated and there's smart CP, you may be better educated, but you voted for Trump, so in that respect your obviously not very smart.

With Trump saying all this, how does that affect anything? The media is continuing to say what they want to say whether or not Trump has complained about the things they said.

How can Trump be called a dictator when a majority of politicians (and bureaucrats appointed by Clinton and Obama) are not siding with Trump? Wouldn't someone have to do more than simply removing corrupt workers in order to be called a dictator?

ok. so how does this differ from Clinton and Obama? How come Congress hasn't made any laws to reduce the powers granted to the Presidency?

It just doesn't sound like there is any grounds to call him a dictator -- unless you might just want to say that he is a dictator in his own mind.
