I think it is largely confined to older people, though. We only have one person who ever sends them to us.

It is an empty tradition for the most part, unless it involves family and close friends. Meh- I send cards to my immediate family, but that’s about it. Also send cards to my older relatives, but only because they expect it & would take offence if I didn’t.Comment
