Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotional’s, 2017: Anticipating and Experiencing God...
    The Gift of Heaven’s Light…
    Shalom!

Christmas time is a time for lights! Tree lights. Window lights. Outside lights. Blow up Christmas figure lights. Illuminated star lights. Illuminated Santa lights. Illuminated manger lights. The Gift of Heavens Light! We have not only received the Gift of Jesus’ life/living, we have also received the Gift of His Light! “We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.” (2 Corinthians 4:7, NLT)

It has been quite a while since Patti and I were plunged into the dark because of a power failure, but not a day goes by when one or both of us find ourselves sitting in spiritual darkness. Unfortunately, that is not true with others, in the aftermath of the storms in the south the fires in the west people were sitting in darkness for days because the power was out. That scenario is representative of what happened the night Jesus was born and in the aftermath of His birth we experienced a massive spiritual power failure/blackout only to be immediately powered up by the “…one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, has come into your world giving His Light to you!” (John 1:9, NLT, adapted)

“Then Jesus asked them, “Would anyone light a lamp and then put it under a basket or under a bed? Of course not! A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light will shine.” (Mark 4:21, NLT) Where is your light shining? This is the first year in 49 years of marriage Patti and I have not illuminated the outside of our home yet the very situations that have prevented us from decorating the outside of our home have turned up the intensity of Jesus’ Spiritual Light thus illuminating our life/living with Heaven’s Light, the Light that shines not only at Christmas but every day thereafter!

The Good News of Christmas is the Holy Spirit under the Ministry and Instructions of Jesus transforms our everyday darkening adversities into Heaven’s “Manna Light” instilling in us the Hope, Love, Peace, and Joy of Jesus to take us above the adversities and illuminating our dark world below.

The Miracle of Christmas is Light, but not just any light the Light of God as illuminated in the life/living of Jesus! Do not fear the today's darkness because tomorrow, Christmas Day the Light will shine again!

“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit ”*

    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary
