Introduction
Hello, I found Theology Web many years ago for just a short period of time before 2009 happened, but I used to enjoy reading it and thinking about the meaning of life and concepts or scriptures. I thought of it today and looked it up and was pleased to find out it was still here. I haven't got a chance to read the subjects of discussions yet. I've settled more firmly into the fact that I am a Christian although I'm not really as well versed in the faith as I was when I was confused and searching. Time flies! Good to see the forum still running.
-And WonderWoman isn't because I can do or know anything spectacular it's because I wonder (quite a bit).

3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (borrowed with gratitude from 37818's sig)

As a self-appointed representative* of the loyal opposition... welcome
*technically, "member" is probably the most I should claim!
The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy...returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Enter the Church and wash away your sins. For here there is a hospital and not a court of law. Do not be ashamed to enter the Church; be ashamed when you sin, but not when you repent. – St. John Chrysostom

Which version of Wonder Woman do you prefer, Linda Carter or the current Gal Gadot?
. . . the Gospel of Christ, for it is [the] power of God to salvation to every [one] believing, . . . -- Romans 1:16.
. . . that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: . . . -- 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4.
