Yeah, Trump only has the worst approval rating in history for a President in his first year in office! 39%. And btw, half of them are deplorable!

According to Rasmussen (which was considerably more accurate than the other major polls in 2016), Trump's approval rating after his first year in office is nearly identical to Obama's. Moreover, according to a just released CBS poll two-thirds of Americans say the economy is very or fairly good which if this continues should result in his re-election.

ETA: IIRC, Truman had even worse numbers and, well...

I'm always still in trouble again

Actually the polls had it just about right with Clinton winning the popular vote by 3 million, but Trump pulled off the upset by winning the electoral college knocking off a few states by a few thousand votes.

Rasmussen, Rasmussen, the conservatives favorite pollster. The composit of all the polls have Trump at 37.7%, so that's even lower than the recent cnbc/wsj poll I cited. And btw, Obama was at 49.6 at the same point in his presidency.

The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy...returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Hillary is not POTUS.
                SCOTUS is not Hillary's.

Yep, a shame for the U.S and an embarrassment in the eyes of the free world.

In your eyes, a shame for the US as the economy comes roaring to life, and I don't give a flying flip about what the rest of the world thinks.

The economy was coming to life just fine when Trump inherited it.

Thats understood, but that's because you're not to bright or thoughtful.

CP - the U.S. economy has been rebounding for about 6 years now. The bull market is now 103 months old, with Trump around for only the last 12 months. The case can be made that the pace has accelerated (i.e., S&P 500 increased 1000 points in 3 years and another 1000 in the last 12 months, so three times as fast), but that's about it. You'll also find a fair number of economists worried that the markets are TOO hot, and way overdue for a correction.

IMO, our "shame" has less to do with what is happening with the economy, and more to do with the character of the person occupying the WH.

First, what is this a graph of? All identifiers appear to be missing. Did you take a single stock and use it as a reflector of what happened in the overall economy? This is certainly not the DOW (https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C....0.nQbcWwRsuW0). Even if it were, the DOW is one of the worst indicators of market performance out there. The S&P is a bit better: https://www.google.com/search?q=SP+5...hrome&ie=UTF-8 (adjust it to look at the 5 year history)

Second, the stock market and the economy are not the same thing.
