I normally use my SCA first name, Archena, as my username but the day I signed up for Tweb on a whim I used my SCA middle name, Teallaura. Had it changed once but everyone was so used to Teallaura that no one knew me.

Can you explain to us what SCA is? I looked it up, and it looks like a fantasy reenactment group. Also, I read your name as Teal Laura...Like your name is Laura, but you the color teal.

A lot of reasons behind "tabibito” (旅人) - A person being addressed in a song that I like (Closing song of Amaenaideyo, an anime series).
旅人 - wayfarer, pilgrim, or nomad (among other meanings)

That's not necessarily a bad thing. If he's available, I have a room with some paint that needs peeling.

I keep the voices in my head busy by forming them into committees and commissions or by taking the ones with talent and forming them into a cappella groups.

Just lock Thirsty in there with a can of beans and a head of cabbage. Tell them they contain alcohol.

Yeah, that's what my googling found. Was hoping to get a summary from Teal, and maybe strike up some conversation about it. Sounds interesting.

While never a member I hung around with many and did some sword and shield with one of its regional leaders who was a knight at the Renaissance Fest. Always left bruised up until the last time when I beat him so badly that he refused to fight me again

I "doctored" my own cows, and when I encountered one that was bloated, I seemed to be gifted at using my pocket knife in just the right place and just the right way to relieve the cow's bloating. (Normally, one would use a trochar, but a pocket knife will do in a pinch).

Word spread, and other ranchers would call me to help them with their cows. I became known as the 'poker of cows', saving lots of vet bills.
