Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotional’s 2018 Experiencing Jesus, the Prelude to Life
    Walking in the Light…
    Shalom!

“Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”” (John 8:12, NLT)

a ventilator. I know in the early days when Eldon’s family tried to understand and experience life without him all they see is darkness. And with the darkness came powerful anxieties that have robbed them of the peace and tranquility Eldon left with them as he passed from this life into the next. Many who will read this have never heard of the Eldon Preston family, but they will have similar experiences as they try to visualize their life tomorrow and the next day and the next day and the next day.

Wouldn’t it great if we had a channel on our televisions or a website where we could watch or logon to see the future? We could turn on “Future Reality Television” or logon to FutureReality.com and know what would happen to us tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, ten years from now and plan our lives accordingly. Wouldn’t it be great if we could see so far into the future we could see ourselves reacquainted with our loved ones who have passes away?

But guess what? That’s right no such television channel or website exists! But what we do have is our faith that while the future belongs to us at present it rests in and exists in the foreknowledge of God who patiently and compassionately is leading us step-by-step where we have yet to go.

To the Eldon Preston family and friends and to all of us who have similar experiences the Prophet Isaiah offers these comforting words, “Who among you fears the LORD and obeys his servant? If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the LORD and rely on your God. “…Let him who walks in darkness and has no light trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God.” (Isaiah 50:10, NLT)

And finally, “…let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life…” (John 14:6)

    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary
