    Favorite Albums

List some of your favorite albums. Off the top of my head, and in no particular order, here are some of mine:

Paramaecium - Exhumed of the Earth
Opprobrium (formerly Incubus) - Serpent Temptation
    Brutality - Screams of Anguish
Desecresy - either The Doom Skeptron or Chasmic Transcendence
    Vader - De Profundis
    Demilich - Nespithe
    Adramelech - Psychostasia
Hofstadter's Law: It will always take longer than you expect, even if you take into account Hofstadter's Law.

Paramaecium is okay, but the bass line is invariably the guitar line, just dropped down an octave or two.

Mortification - Scrolls of the Megilloth
    Tourniquet - Stop the Bleeding
Bride - Snakes in the Playground
Detritus - If But For One
    Betrayal - The Passing
    Petra - On Fire
    Def Leppard - Hysteria
    Metallica - s/t
    Poison - Flesh and Blood
The Electrics - Reel, Folk, 'n' Rock 'n' Roll
Insyderz - Fight of My Life
The O. C. Supertones - Supertones Strike Back
    Steve Taylor - Squint
    Alice Cooper - Dragontown
    Enya - Shepherd Moons
Johnny Cash - American IV: The Man Comes Around

Ok, that covers most genres, I think.

Have you gotten a chance to listen to the two new Drottnar EPs yet?

I don't think so. I like Drottnar, but in small doses.

    The Beatles - Rubber Souls
    The Police - Zenyatta Mondatta
    Paul Simon - Graceland
The Sisters of Mercy - Floodland
    Gang of Four - Entertainment!
All Saved Freak Band - My Poor Generation
    Comus - First Utterance
Death in June - Brown Book
    Germs - GI
UK Decay - For Madmen Only
Blaster the Rocket Man - The Monster Who Ate Jesus
    The Cure - Disintegration
    Rudimentary Peni - Cacophony
Zounds - The Curse of Zounds
The Mob - Let the Tribe Increase
Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit for Rotten Vegetables
The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground & Nico
New York Dolls - New York Dolls

Ok, this could go on forever. I think I'll stop for now. This list isn't really reflective of the wide range of genres I enjoy, from Western, to Bebop, to Afrobeat, to Classical Indian, and a ton of genres in between. I guess as far as albums that pop into my head, though, most of the stuff I like are rock bands.

Some of these selections scream "I was a teenager in the 80s!"
