Remember, you aren't flying - the plane is. You're just sitting in a itty bitty chair for an inordinate period of time - and you can handle sitting any day of the week!

Thanks for all the prayers and support.

Logically and statistically, I have nothing to worry about but my brain freaks out before flying every time.Curiosity never hurt anyone. It was stupidity that killed the cat.

So, bring a steering wheel and drive the whole way. At the very least, you'll have lots of interesting conversations about what the heck you're doing..."He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose." - Jim Elliot

Just letting everyone know I am in the UK now and doing well. We are finally reunited and I couldn't be happier. I am enjoying the much-needed rest as well.
The only thing that would make me happier is if being together was permanent instead of temporary. Prayers to that effect would be appreciated.Curiosity never hurt anyone. It was stupidity that killed the cat.

The current plan is, if he finds a job during my stay, then when I go home it will be to apply for a spouse's visa. Then as soon as that is sorted I will be back and we'll find our own place closer to where he'll be working and/or attending university, and I will find a job also. If he does not find a job by the time I leave, we are planning on him moving to the States with me and looking for a job there and doing his PhD work online. The second plan is looking more likely but we'll see what happens.Curiosity never hurt anyone. It was stupidity that killed the cat.
