Remember, you aren't flying - the plane is. You're just sitting in a itty bitty chair for an inordinate period of time - and you can handle sitting any day of the week!

Thanks for all the prayers and support.
Hope everything goes well, and I hope your anniversary is wonderful.

Normally when I sit in a chair for inordinate periods of time every day of the week, it's the driver's seat in a vehicle that I am operating. I'm not used to being the passenger. I'm also not used to the vehicle being not on the ground.

Logically and statistically, I have nothing to worry about but my brain freaks out before flying every time.

Just a warning, the pilots get really sarky with you if you do too much back seat driving

Best of luck with it Quanta and RG. Have an awesome time together.

So, bring a steering wheel and drive the whole way. At the very least, you'll have lots of interesting conversations about what the heck you're doing...

Just letting everyone know I am in the UK now and doing well. We are finally reunited and I couldn't be happier. I am enjoying the much-needed rest as well.

The only thing that would make me happier is if being together was permanent instead of temporary. Prayers to that effect would be appreciated.

So, stuffing him in the suitcase and taking him home with you isn't an option?

                            I wish!

The current plan is, if he finds a job during my stay, then when I go home it will be to apply for a spouse's visa. Then as soon as that is sorted I will be back and we'll find our own place closer to where he'll be working and/or attending university, and I will find a job also. If he does not find a job by the time I leave, we are planning on him moving to the States with me and looking for a job there and doing his PhD work online. The second plan is looking more likely but we'll see what happens.
