Used to love salted watermelon. Now I don't like watermelon.

I don't like chocolate. How about snickerdoodles? I can eat those until the cows come home.

The salt actually does seem to bring out the sweetness of the watermelon. Talk about counter-intuitive.

Salt and sugar bring out each other.
                  Ever had grilled watermelon?

I was raised putting salt and pepper on cantaloupe. Seems odd to me now, and in those days we got wonderful ripe, flavorful melons.

My mother once cut up a whole watermelon and put it in a dehydrator. The whole thing fit into a little Ziploc baggie. It had a very strange texture.

I bet that took a long time, since a watermelon is mostly water.
