          I am not sure you understand what agnosticism is. I don't need to find it possible that all sort of religions could be true in order to call myself an agnostic. I only need to point to the fact that we cannot know whether some god in some form exists. Finding it hard to see how belief in invisible entities, eternal life and virgin births could be "historically based" certainly does not rule out the idea that a god way beyond the grasp of our understanding and imagination (including historically based understanding) could exist.
