Natural Science 301 Guidelines

This is an open forum area for all members for discussions on all issues of science and origins. This area will and does get volatile at times, but we ask that it be kept to a dull roar, and moderators will intervene to keep the peace if necessary. This means obvious trolling and flaming that becomes a problem will be dealt with, and you might find yourself in the doghouse.

As usual, Tweb rules apply. If you haven't read them now would be a good time.

Why couldn't the Israelites feed the captives, using the Amelekites' own resources?
how long would those resources last? nomadic people didn't store food. and why would they feed them? they were their enemies who raided them and killed them. you make no sense Roy. you seem to think modern situations and such apply to bronze age nomads. gah.

      More questions instead of answers.

You seem to think that if an area of land is supporting two tribes of people, and one of those tribes gets conquered by the other, that causes the land to only be able to support half as many people as it did before.

That's nothing to do with applying modern situations to bronze age peoples, it's merely being able to count.

The insignificance of man is not a new discovery - far from it ! It’s nice to see unbelievers agreeing with Scripture; but they are very late to the party.

The material size of the universe is, in itself, of no importance at all. To say man is insignificant, is a judgement of value. And there is no way to get from a material entity, to a value-judgement. They are both realities, but of entirely different orders. IOW, they are incommensurable. Unless, that is, one connects the two by the (non-physical) action of thinking about the two things. Physicalist materialism is self-refuting.
