          Washington (CNN)National security adviser H.R. McMaster has resigned and will be replaced by former US ambassador and Fox News analyst John Bolton, President Donald Trump announced in a tweet on Thursday.

          Yes, I noted a few pages back that RedEye President Ambassador Bolton was on the "rumored" list. I think he was originally one of the candidates for Sec. State, back when Trump was first elected.

          It *is* kind of amusing that you and various others seem to think of him mainly as a "Fox News personality," given that he has 30-ish years of experience in various branches of da gubmint, and Fox News was basically a fun temp gig for him.
