Parents Stage Walkout Over Planned Parenthood's Graphic, Violent Sex Ed in Public Schools

Sex education in public schools has gone off the deep end. Gone are the days of handing out birth control and practicing putting condoms on bananas. These days your kid is more likely to come away from school with more sexually deviant knowledge than single gay dudes in New York City have thanks to Planned Parenthood's comprehensive sex ed program that has somehow made it into public school curriculums. These programs teach dangerous and violent practices like BDSM, asphyxiation, gender-bending, anal sex, and let's not forget "rimming," which can saddle your kid with nasty parasitic infections.

You know it is odd. When I was in high school almost everyone knew at least some of the physical stuff. I knew through intuition and pornography. Yet I still don't know much about embryology. I must admit I have learned about some of the neuroscience and psychology reading premarital counseling works. Porn doesn't really give accurate representations of the physical aspect either.

It was never truly about teaching them about sex education. All you have to do is read about people who started Planed Parenthood and other deviant's who write books and documentaries about children and sex. It's crazy what they were and are allowed to do in the name of science. Thank you for sharing this with us Seer. A lot of people don't know just how much this is going on in our schools. On the general topic, I was personally disappointed by the lack of sex-ed in my education in my secular liberal country. At age ~11 we went through a 3 page booklet in class on 'biological changes at puberty', and that was it. I heard rumors there were supposed to be actual sex ed classes around age 16, but they never materialized. So that's a wildly liberal secular education in a wildly secular liberal country for you. I briefly talked to an acquaintance several years ago who was running a sex-ed in schools program and she observed to me that the kids in general tended to be extremely well-educated via watching porn and that most of her time was spent debunking incorrect assumptions the kids had gained from watching porn.

Personally I would actually favor quite comprehensive sex education covering everything from the need for consent from partners, to family planning, to STDs and testing, to how to be a considerate lover. A bit of coverage in the classroom of the facts about sexuality and gender would also be nice - i.e. what being 'gay' or 'bi' is, what 'transgender' means etc.
