played, often, with double nine dominoes.

Chicken foot, also known as Chicken dominoes, Chickie dominoes, and Chickie, is a dominoes game of the "Trains" family, similar to Mexican Train. Chicken Foot is played in rounds, one round for each double domino in the set. The game is normally played by 2 to 8 players using any of the common sets (double-six, double-nine, double-twelve, double-fifteen or double-eighteen). If a player does not tap their last domino on the table when they are down to one and the next player plays a domino they must draw from the bone yard.

If you get stuck at the end of the game with the double blank, it's 50 points added to your score - low score wins.

7th fleet was fun. Took a long time to play, though.

Blue Max is fun (WWI dogfights).

A single game takes forever, and you need a more than three people for it to be even moderately fun IMO.

I tried playing that once, wasn't particularly fond of it.

My favourite board game is Trivial Pursuit.
Trivial Pursuit was always my favorite until my brain collapse. Then there is Dictionary Dabble.

I think it's an off brand version of Balderdash. Dictionary Dabble was more interesting as far as the board IMO. You all have pieces on the board of "The Thinker" statue, and you start at the "Pit of Ignorance", and work your way up to the "Summit of Enlightenment".

We used to play "Dictionary" before Balderdash came out. Literally the same game, but just passed a dictionary around. Made up scoring and so on. I like Balderdash, too.

Playing against impatient people also works well - I've never lost to my cousin because he can't sit still that long. We've also never finished a Monopoly game.
