Apologetics 301 Guidelines

If you think this is the area where you tell everyone you are sorry for eating their lunch out of the fridge, it probably isn't the place for you

This forum is open discussion between atheists and all theists to defend and debate their views on religion or non-religion. Please respect that this is a Christian-owned forum and refrain from gratuitous blasphemy. VERY wide leeway is given in range of expression and allowable behavior as compared to other areas of the forum, and moderation is not overly involved unless necessary. Please keep this in mind. Atheists who wish to interact with theists in a way that does not seek to undermine theistic faith may participate in the World Religions Department. Non-debate question and answers and mild and less confrontational discussions can take place in General Theistics.

According to Paul, at least. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"

The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Here is an article that examines all of the evidence for and against Peter being the author.

Basically the reasons for thinking he is not the author are pretty thin. In fact, the early Church was very careful in what they allowed in the canon precisely because there were a lot of forgeries going around. The fact that they accepted it as canon speaks to it's authenticity since the church would not want a deceptive letter as part of Scripture.

That you are a moronic troll who thinks he is way more clever than he is? Yeah we got that long ago Jim.

I caught on long ago that no question you ask is sincere.

And when your own flawed logic is tossed back at you it goes right over your head. Maybe if you take your fingers out of your ears you'd catch it.

This is not always the case.

Got a link to a question Jim has asked that is a sincere, genuine query?

Maybe. But it degenerated fairly quickly into Jim not being interested in what he was being told.
