Imagine the "just think what we almost did" that the parents may be feeling, having given the "go" to pull the plug. Imagine the hope this gives other parents, and the gravity of giving the ok to "pull the plug".The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Something tells me that someone screwed up royally or else we have evidence of a true miracle.

I have told this before:
When my alcoholic dad had a stroke and ended up in a coma, the doctor told me we should say goodbye because he wouldn't wake up. I had him airlifted to a different hospital where the neurosurgeons did what they could and said he might or might not wake up, and if he did he could have severe brain damage. My mom's church elders came to his room and prayed for him and he woke up and was in pretty good shape. He had some eyesight and speech problems after that, but he stopped drinking, started going to church with my mom and became a Christian. So I consider that a miracle and it is the reason I, my brother, his wife and son, my aunt, and several of my dad's drinking buddies at the VFW all became Christian.

I seem to have read of such "miraculous" cases of recovery before. This one just came right before the plug was pulled.
How many times have we pulled the plug a little too soon and lost one who would have recovered?Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

What Sparko said. We do our best to judge the right time and leave it to God. It's one of the most awful and solemn decisions a family must make. We really have to do what we can. I won't judge any one pulling the plug without knowing the circumstances.Watch your links! http://www.theologyweb.com/campus/fa...corumetiquette

I point no finger of judgement. I just wonder what past cases may have been - we can never know.
Pulling the plug is certainly a difficult and stressful decision. Only prayers for those in that situation.Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
