I've never seen guacamole say anything racist. That must mean he's just really good at hiding his racism.

You see, OBP, it's not just that they support what Trump is doing policy-wise, they are (mostly) refusing to call him on his wide range of immoral acts and character flaws. The message I'm seeing is, "pretty much everything is forgiven, because you are enacting the policies we like."
My earlier citations sufficiently demonstrate the truth of this IMO.

Nope. That would be people arguing that since he doesn't say anything racist on his show, then he's not racist.

And as Piggy says, Trump has never been one to watch his mouth on anything.
We'll chalk that up to two more posters who think that if Trump had a contract to deliver a prime-time standard show, then he wouldn't have delivered a prime-time standard show. It's almost like you guys think he's a moron yourselves.

That would be a logically possible statement. And wildly inaccurate given my first post in this thread.

I'm not seeing it, but I'm not exactly plugged in to Evangelical Christianity either. His (lack of) sexual morals are old news; I rather suspect that current violations would not be tolerated. The racist thing seems way overblown, and the "lies" can often be easily seen to be exaggerated rhetoric not intended to be taken at face value. Ya'll keep crying "wolf" at silly stuff like that, and y'all wonder why you're being tuned out.

Did you catch my quote from Tony Perkins (who is one of the most influential Christian conservatives) earlier explicitly saying he was excusing Trump's affair because he was willing to attack Democrats?

The problem with an argument from silence is that it lends itself equally to multiple conclusions. That's why it's a logical fallacy.

The only press that isn't "hostile", by which I presume you mean objective , is the Trump propaganda machine fuelled by Breitbart and Fox. All the rest in the US, Australia, Britain and elsewhere report on the antics of this dreadful man as they see them. And they're not pretty.

It would be helpful to explore why and with what qualifications white evangelicals support Trump, but that would hamper your narrative, and we can't have that.

But that's because the entire rest of the world is in the pocket of George Soros! We all get checks from him monthly.

Likewise we all accept climate change because Al Gore writes us all checks. It's not as if our own countries have our own scientists and government agencies who can analyse that sort of thing. Everyone gets paid to believe the 'adjusted' figures NASA puts out and has no way of measuring their own because Al Gore stole all our thermometers.

US right-wing-propaganda outlets like Breitbart and Fox and Patriot Post are the only brave Truth Tellers who stand against the International Conspiracy of other nations, media outlets, and scientists, in their united front of cultural marxism, radical feminism, and The Gay Agenda, all paid for by Soros money.

...Or it could be that the US is quite corrupt and that the US right has been indoctrinated by the Kochs and big oil and the NRA and religious zealots, but that seems waaaaay less likely than the entire rest of the world being in on a global conspiracy targeted at US right-wingers.

I am not surprised that you're "not seeing it," OBP. That is basically what is happening broadly across the religious right. His sexual proclivities are "old news." The "racism" thing is overblown. "He's not lying, he's exaggerating/telling-it-like-it-is" and so forth. And if anyone points to Trump's moral and personal failings, they're "crying wolf." You essentially made my point with your post. It's pretty much exactly what I was talking about.
