Here in the Philosophy forum we will talk about all the "why" questions. We'll have conversations about the way in which philosophy and theology and religion interact with each other. Metaphysics, ontology, origins, truth? They're all fair game so jump right in and have some fun! But remember...play nice!

Nobody is referring to "disposing of babies" as "human garbage" on "a whim'. The definition of 'Person' is to provide guidelines in law for the protection of individuals. Currently, in the US, this is generally when the life of the fetus is its own and viable and therefore subject to being protected by the state.“He felt that his whole life was a kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it.” - Douglas Adams.

So what’s changed over the past 45 years to make you lot so adamantly opposed to abortion under any circumstances? You seem unable to address this straightforward question.“He felt that his whole life was a kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it.” - Douglas Adams.
