I imagine Tass, like myself, considers it well and truly proven from the evidence already in the public sphere.

From the evidence that is public, the question is not whether the Trump team colluded with many and various countries, including Russia, the question is only to what extent they will be punished for it. Will Mueller's team issue 1000 indictments and send everyone involved to prison for life, or will he just give a James Comey-esque speech saying "naughty, naughty. Bad things were done." and then the Republican congress will refuse to impeach because they're Republican and don't believe in justice?

Of course it is. There is ample evidence already available, and one can only guess at what Mueller already knows, but we can reasonably assume it's a hell of a lot. Trump obviously thinks so given his desperate attempts to shut the whole thing down, aided and abetted by Nunes, his loyal little errand boy.

But until that occurs, I see little reason to find the claim of deliberate Russian collusion by Trump to be more credible than it was before the investigation. Particularly because the media has cried wolf on this so many times.

Have you been smoking some JimL weed?
The campaign was clearly dirty, with Manafort reaching out within the first two weeks to his favorite oligarch to get whole after burying something like $20 million of OVD's money in a poor investment.
“I assume you have shown our friends my media coverage, right?” Manafort wrote.

“Absolutely,” Kilimnik responded a few hours later from Kiev. “Every article.”

“How do we use to get whole,” Manafort asks. “Has OVD operation seen?”

Gates was caught up in the same net.
In 2008, Deripaska transferred $18.9 million to the fund so that it could purchase Black Sea Cable, a Ukrainian telecommunication company, according to the petition. It’s not clear what became of Deripaska’s investment, or if the private-equity fund actually took control of the company. In the Cayman Islands petition, his lawyers alleged the venture had been botched, and requested the “winding down of the partnership.” The petition alleges that when Deripaska asked for an accounting of the investment in 2013, Manafort simply didn’t respond. “It appears that Paul Manafort and [his deputy] Rick Gates have simply disappeared,” the Russian oligarch’s lawyers wrote.

These are folks that look you up ten years later, in your own country, to slip nerve agents into your sushi, or just smear them onto your doorknob.
Because the nerve agent is so potent, the officials said, the task could have been carried out only by trained professionals familiar with chemical weapons. British and American officials are skeptical that independent actors could have carried out such a risky operation or obtained the agent without approval at the highest levels of the Russian government — almost exactly the same phrase that American intelligence agencies used in October 2016, when they first attributed the hacking of emails from the Democratic National Committee to a team of Russian hackers.

Not the kind of pals you want to owe money to.

And it's not like the Russians weren't chumming the waters for anyone they could get.

Not on Putin's right hand, like Flynn, but yeah, that's Jill Stein.

Trump himself, I dunno. I can't imagine any intelligence agency willingly getting into bed with an erratic buffoon, but yeah, that's Jill Stein. At the very least, judging by nothing more than his aversion to act on the Russian sanctions passed overwhelming by the Congress, he's been captured, in some sense. And then there's his curious amnesia regarding Felix Sater.
Every time someone asks Donald Trump if he knows Felix Sater, his Russian-born, Brooklyn-bred former business associate, Trump draws a blank. Despite the fact that Sater worked on and off for a decade with the Trump Organization, and despite his recent headline-making appearance as an exuberant negotiator on behalf of Trump’s hardnosed attorney, Michael Cohen, in seeking to build a “massive Trump Tower in Moscow” last year, Trump ducks.

The silence from Mueller doesn't figure into anything yet. Until his interview with Trump is in the box, we have to figure that if he has anything on Trump, it would be a sad day for any agent under him who let that information leak out.

Not that we know he's got anything, but these repeated denials based on a lack of leakage are poorly thought out, and unusual, to me in any case. It's not like TWeb hasn't seen plenty of "absence of evidence is not evidence of absence" arguments in other forums.

There's that name again, Deripaska. I've mentioned this before, but you now who else has ties to Deripaska?

              Guess.

              Go on, guess.

              It's Robert Mueller.

Source: Mueller may have a conflict — and it leads directly to a Russian oligarch

In 2009, when Mueller ran the FBI, the bureau asked Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska to spend millions of his own dollars funding an FBI-supervised operation to rescue a retired FBI agent, Robert Levinson, captured in Iran while working for the CIA in 2007.

Yes, that’s the same Deripaska who has surfaced in Mueller’s current investigation and who was recently sanctioned by the Trump administration.

It's worth noting that businessmen don't spend millions of their own money without expecting a return on their investment. What do you suppose Mueller gave to Deripaska?

Also, when FBI agents approached Deripaska shortly after the election and explained their Russian collusion conspiracy theory, Deripaska laughed in their face and told them, "You are trying to create something out of nothing."

The answer is in the 2013 Times story linked in the Hill op/ed: Law enforcement visas, though he was cooperating in hopes of seeing his visa status cleared. State, under Hillary, refused, maintaining that he's a mobster.

About the same response he gives when asked if he's a mobster.

                  More evidence of Russian collusion.

Unfortunately for liberals, this is not the collusion you're looking for.

Source: Russian Lobbyist at Trump Jr. Meeting Admits Personal Relationship with Hillary Clinton, Campaign Staffers

In recently released testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, a key participant at the June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower with President Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. said that he “knows” Hillary Clinton and has a personal relationship with her that dates back to the late-1990s.

Besides describing a direct connection to Clinton, Russian-born Washington lobbyist Rinat Akhmetshin also testified that he “knew some people who worked on” Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.

Akhmetshin was one of the participants at the June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting that has been the subject of much news media coverage related to unsubstantiated and collapsing claims of collusion with Russia. All meeting participants generally agree the confab focused largely on the Magnitsky Act, which sanctions Russian officials accused of involvement in the death of a Russian tax accountant, as well as talk about a Russian tax evasion scheme and alleged connections to the Democratic National Committee.

Trump Jr. previously explained that he took the meeting thinking it was about “opposition research” on Hillary Clinton and was disappointed that it wasn’t.

Last week, Breitbart News reported that email transcripts and other information disclosed in Akhmetshi’s testimony reveal a significant relationship between the lobbyist and the controversial Fusion GPS firm that produced the infamous, largely discredited anti-Trump dossier.

The Russia collusion conspiracy was sparked by the dossier produced by Fusion GPS, which was paid for its anti-Trump work by Trump’s primary political opponents, namely Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) via the Perkins Coie law firm.

Now it has emerged that in his testimony, Akhmetshin related a personal connection to Clinton via attorney Ed Lieberman, whose late wife Evelyn previously served as Clinton’s chief of staff when she was First Lady. Evelyn Lieberman also served as Bill Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, and famously transferred Monica Lewinsky out of the White House to the Defense Department.
