He'll be 78 in 2020... I thought Trump was pushing it, and Trump's several years younger.
Middle-of-the-road swing voter. Feel free to sway my opinion.

Joe Biden's a nice guy with an unusual penchant for tasting his own feet. It would be ironic if the Democratic primary came down to choosing between two really old white guys, though.

It would also be interesting if Joe Biden ended up being the "extreme right" of the Democratic field.

Joe really is a likable guy even though he made Dan Quayle look like a Rhodes scholar

Don't count out Hillary... She needs to set this great injustice right!

And let's not forget Bernie Sanders who is older than either Trump and Biden

I was referring to Bernie. I doubt Trump will be in the running for the Democrat primary.

Kinda like going from attacking Romney for being too extreme about immigration and calling for a pathway to citizenship for illegals during the previous presidential election (2012) to making halting illegal immigration his most prominent position?

You missed my point. He's not the only one who'd need to do an about-face.

Most politicians are old white guys.

Biden hasn't typically done very well in presidential primaries. I can see him getting the sympathy vote because of the deaths in his family, and for the big-moneyed-interests he's a 'safe' center-right candidate to support against the more 'radical left' (Bernie etc).

Age doesn't really seem to matter to US voters. Senators Feinstein and Hatch are 84. Feinstein has her primary tomorrow as she runs for another 6 year term.

2020 is going to be Bernie's election like 2016 was Hillary's. He'll be 78. But he still seems pretty energetic to me.

Well it's looking like he will be. All the other candidates are panicking that Sanders going to win by a landslide, so they are trying to run as Sanders clones and outdo one another is being progressive in order to split the Sanders voter equally among them all. Whereas Biden doesn't seem to care and is being his usual self, so he's going to look like a massive right-wing outlier in the primary.

I do have a fear that Hillary might announce she was cheated by the foreign interference in the election and then run again.

However what worked for her last time was name-recognition whereas Bernie had none, yet he still managed to get the primary to 55-45. Another time around they would start at equal name recognition, and she brings the baggage of losing a general to the world's most beatable candidate, and all her shananagans rigging the primary against Bernie last time have come to light as well. I think even Hillary couldn't convince herself she's likely to win against Bernie a second time around.
