  • My friend Connie

Tonight, after a long bout with strokes, my friend Connie is with the Lord.

She was one of the first people I knew when I came to the church in 1981. She became a great grandmother last year. She was always full of fun and in her own words "feisty". But she loved the Lord with a passion. Always a great and patient teacher with the children. Now she rests with her parents and her elder sister.

Pray for her husband of over 50 years and her family.

Enter the Church and wash away your sins. For here there is a hospital and not a court of law. Do not be ashamed to enter the Church; be ashamed when you sin, but not when you repent. – St. John Chrysostom

I recommend you do not try too hard and ...research as little as possible. Such weighty things give me a headache. - Shunyadragon, Baha'i apologist
