  • We have rapes, murders, gangs and police harassment right here Tassy. They aren't escaping anything. And when it happens here, you don't see people running off to another country, dragging their children through the desert, do you?

If they need asylum, they can apply for it like everyone else.

and yes the law does say that the children have to be separated. Why do you think the democrats wanted Trump to sign an executive order stopping it? Because THEY (congress) were the ones who passed the law in the first place and now they are passing the buck. The law says that children cannot be placed in jail. And the law says that anyone breaking the law by crossing the border is arrested. Do the math.

It's funny seeing Tass get so righteously indignant considering his own country's policies toward illegal immigrants including forcibly turning them around at sea (they're often in rickety water-logged boats that will lucky to be able to make the long return trip to places like Indonesia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka overloaded with their human cargo) or sending asylum seekers to detention camps on remote Pacific islands

From NBC News (not exactly an outpost of conservatives):

article in The Guardian describing his change of heart it mentions how

Nauru and Manus Island were both reopened in 2012 and have been plagued by allegations of violence, including murder; sexual predation of men, women and, in particular, children; medical neglect leading to death; high rates of suicide and self-harm; and other human rights abuses.

The saying about people living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones comes to mind

I'm always still in trouble again

I have learned a long time ago that with Tassy it is never actually the issues he brings up. Those are merely a club he tries to use to beat on conservatives with. Mostly he fails in very ironic ways. Like this.

He and Star want SO BADLY to live here and run things.

            • The administration was on track to reunite more than 1,600 families by the deadline, but hundreds more remain separated. And more than 450 parents accused of illegally entering the country have reportedly been deported without their children. https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/2...ons/842187002/
But I guess Obama did the same, or that somehow this is all so good and so much in line with Romans 13, and let's not talk about this from the perspective of the children lets rather throw dirt on the parents, right? I have come to know that this is how many so called Christians see this. Not all, but many.

You're sounding quite a bit like JimL, only with a little more proper spelling and grammar.

At whom (on this board) are you throwing your little poison arrows? Or did you just feel the need to mindlessly rant?

Anyone can go back and see how so called Christians repeatedly neglected the tragedy and refused to hold anyone but the parents accountable. The fact that you are seemingly ignoring this is something that you should perhaps reconsider. Because it is easy to see you are also trying to change subject and you are not pushing for higher moral standards in a situation in which your government is responsible for the continued separation of innocent children from their parents. But it seems something else was more important.

Someone who calls himself a Christian but supports ideas and policies that are inhuman or at least tries to neglect or take focus away from those who are really suffering. It has happened a lot in this thread.

Who determines if an idea or policy is actually inhuman or takes focus away from suffering? you?

Children have been separeted from their parents for a very long period now. It is possible some of them will never see their parents again. The fact that you even ask in this situation is a rather good example of taking focus away from real suffering. Thanks for making it so obvious.

So you are the person who determines if an idea of policy is inhuman then?

Ah, so you're pulling a JimL --- "go look it up". I'll feel free to ignore the rest of your post, then.
