Those who are in "teaching" are, for the most part, rude, arrogant, and tend to have a whole lot of book learning, but not much common sense or real world experience. These guys can't figure out how to load paper in the copier, set up the video conferencing system... They need help with just about everything, and they have an "air" when "asking" for help.
Those who are in "extension" are, for the most part, just downright "salt of the earth" decent people with real world knowledge, experience, "can do" attitudes....

Doesn't seem to be a particularly meaningful question to me. Obviously we have countries that have laws and economic systems. When we tweak those things it affects the people in the country. What did Trump do with all the people who opposed his absurd tax cuts and massive increases in the deficit? Annoyed them."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump

Star kinda reminds me of the first category.
At various different times he claimed that he was
- "a scientist in more than one field" while proclaiming that "Heliocentrism was wrong," and there are inorganic plants and animals.
- a surgeon with an entire slew of specialties including being a nuerosurgeron [sic], an otolaryngologist (treating disorders related to the head and neck), a plastic surgeon (claiming to do mammalplasties [sic]), performing stereotaxic surgery, cardiac surgery, spinal/pelvic surgery, orthopedic surgery, amputating limbs and even conducted kidney transplants, all while performing "aproxiamtely [sic] 400 circumcisions a week" at his clinic. All while saying things like "Phrenology has been verified more than 100 times" (that's the long discredited belief that the shape and size of the cranium can be used to determine a person's character and mental abilities) and a host of other simple bizarre medical mistakes.
- a published economist having worked as an adviser to the Finance Minister of Iran.
- a psychologist.
- an über-businessman who started and ran 2 Fortune 500 Companies.
- a farmer with the largest organic farm in either Texas or the U.S.
- a geologist who declared that gall stones formed in caves.
- a Fortran programmer.
- a CPA.
- a university professor "at great universities" who insisted that Cambridge was a diploma mill.
- studied law and helped the police.
- a concert musician.
- a pilot.
- owns a yacht that he captains in races all over the world having "sailed in speeds of over 30 knots/hr on liquid and 40 knots on solid"[1]
- trained Olympic athletes
- helped organize, host and run the Pan American games
- claimed to be fluent in several languages but made mistakes that a first year student wouldn't make
It's quite a Curriculum Vitæ he has there and I'm sure I'm missing a few. He also frequently bragged that he is "God's favorite saint"
1. For the captain of a yacht to say he sails at "speeds of over 30 knots/hr" is like a NASCAR driver saying that he drives at 200 mph/hr. And I'd really like to know what solids he sails his yacht on. Further he made the mistake of naming the yacht club he was a commodore at and when contacted they denied having any members even remotely like himLast edited by rogue06; 07-17-2018, 10:23 PM.
