We've seen just how much hate is in the typical liberal heart here after the last election. It's been a year and a half, and there is still much wailing and gnashing of teeth. It makes the Republican reaction to Obama's presidency look like welcoming him with open arms.

Seems like one of her biggest supporters is someone who is well known in New York for his racist and and anti-Semitic rants.

Lopez-Pierre is known for his public racist slurs against both Jewish and blacks New Yorkers including when he ran for office himself. Last year, he specifically campaigned on"protecting tenants from greedy Jewish landlords" -- a refrain that appeared on his campaign website, his twitter biography and peppered his speeches.

He also admitted to sending an email to a black supporter of his opponent when he unsuccessfully ran for city council five years ago that is laced with homophobic and racist terms and words. I can't even hint at some of what he said but to suffice it to say it included calling him the n-word and a female dog multiple times.

Ocasio-Lopez is understandably throwing him under the bus pretending that she has no idea who he is.
