Oh yup, gives you terrified and paranoid nutters something to feel undue fear over. Republican voters are such pathetic cowards who are so scared over everything, it's just sad. I pity the lot of you. Gotta love the scary music too."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell

Mad Maxine Waters is calling for more in-your-face confrontations. Sanders campaign worker James Hodgkinson did. Even the majority of Democrats now think that Trump haters will become increasingly violent.
I'm always still in trouble again

Here I will help. There was a description of the ad's contents under the video on youtube.
---
Running at just more than a minute long, the video kicks off with a soundbite that appears to be from Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, not seen on the tape.
"A few years ago, ideas that we talked about were thought to be fringe ideas, radical ideas, extremist ideas. Those ideas are now mainstream,” he said.
A follow-up soundbite appeared to come from an off-camera Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi: “I just don’t even know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country.”
As the audio clips played, the video showed graffiti that read, “revolution or death,” a burning, vandalized limousine and the May 2017 photoshoot with Kathy Griffin, during which she held a bloodied masked of President Trump.
The video also included a clip of remarks made by Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters over the weekend, during which she encouraged supporters to push back against the Trump administration amid backlash over the White House’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy.
“Full Frontal” host Samantha Bee was also featured, revisiting a segment on an episode of her show last month in which she used severe vulgarity to criticize Ivanka Trump. Sound from the White House Correspondents Dinner was played too, during which White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was slammed by comedian Michelle Wolf.Last edited by Sparko; 06-28-2018, 07:42 AM.

Maybe comedians should introduce trigger-warnings for conservatives at the start of their shows, warning that the shows might contain humor. Conservative brains apparently can't distinguish humor from fear and terror."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump

Originally posted by Starlight View PostYup, he's talking about medicare for all, free college, and a living wage. Previously those ideas were labelled fringe and radical and extremist by the elites running the two main parties, but now due to Sanders they have become mainstream in the Dem party. Scary. You should probably lose a few nights sleep over how scary those are.
No idea what precisely she was referring to. Obviously there have been plenty of anti-Trump protests throughout the country.
Did the video makers draw that graffiti to be artistic? And set fire to a fake limo?
Those comedians are so scary. Hope you don't wet your pants.
Would you prefer Dems to sign off on Trump's family-separation policy? Even a Bush-appointed Federal judge has now slapped Trump down for it. Of course Dems should and are going to push back. I note some conservatives have worked themselves into a tizzy trying to pretend Maxine Waters was inciting violence rather than advocating political protest. Trump, on the other hand, has actually incited violence numerous times, regularly offering to pay the legal bills if his supporters physically punched democratic protesters.
OMG, "severe vulgarity", cue melting from all conservative snowflakes because they got hung up on the fact that she said a bad word in order to avoid taking any note of the actual point she was making.
OMG, a comedian dared criticize the serial liar Sarah Sanders? What are those scary comedians thinking? They're almost as scary as clowns.

Okaaay...
no. These were photos of the Antifa riots from a year ago after the election.
So nothing out of context then?
Again, you have not shown anything to be out of context here. She was encouraging people to harass government officials in their private lives away from work.
Again this is just an argument from outrage, you have not shown your claim that this is false or out of context. Try harder.
So apparently all you have is an argument from outrage and your earlier statement, "The only thing unhinged and literally insane about this ad is how various things have been taken out of context and juxtaposed together to trick gullible and paranoid right-wingers into thinking the left is a tenth as violent as they are." cannot be upheld. There is nothing out of context or false about the ad, other than maybe that initial comment by Sanders.Last edited by RumTumTugger; 06-28-2018, 12:55 PM.

Favoring control isn't the same thing as abstaining from ownership at all.
And let's not forget that rioters aren't usually ticked off middle class liberals getting out of their arm chairs.
Also, gun control laws aren't that restrictive - those who simply don't own aren't necessarily barred from purchase - especially if it's the first time they've gone insane and want to shoot people. As long as they show up looking functional, have a permit and wait the three days (where applicable), they can buy a gun.
Shooting into crowds might not end well for the shooter but it doesn't really end well for anyone - and requires nothing in the form of actual skill (unless you count 'pull trigger' as a skill).
