Enter the Church and wash away your sins. For here there is a hospital and not a court of law. Do not be ashamed to enter the Church; be ashamed when you sin, but not when you repent. – St. John Chrysostom

I had finished the book by the second day after it was assigned although I was supposed to only read a chapter or so a week. I re-read it as the rest of the class plowed through it led by a teacher determined to squeeze every last drop out of any joy out of reading a truly excellent novel.

Around the third day of the teacher still trying to ineptly explain the opening I finally woke myself up from a nap to shout out "he's saying it was a time of extreme contradictions."

Just kidding. No one likes King's Landing.
