We need more folks up in Washington like Fred Thompson who was there to ask serious questions rather than create sound bites for campaign ads or be a political stooge concerned only with running interference for their side. Congressional hearings largely became circuses ever since Iran-Contra (and maybe even since the Church Committee).

Comprehension problems still eh MM. Strzoks point was that regardless of the poll numbers, even if it looked like Trump was going to lose big, the investigation, he thought, should go on anyway. So, he wasn't biasedly basing it on the poll numbers, he was simply basing it on the intel. regardless of the polls.
