Let's let him get convicted first, OK? That's a pretty rock solid principle over here. THEN, if convicted, he can go to jail or get pardoned or whatever.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Well Trump is about to have a 'behind closed doors' meeting with Putin. This would be the perfect opportunity for him to demand Putin return the Russian Intelligence Officers to the US to face charges. Of course he will.

So that's why the audience at the RNC convention were chanting "lock her up!" because Republicans agree it's a rock solid principle in the US that you need a conviction before reaching a personal judgment?

No, they apparently got carried away - it was just as wrong.

            A) Laugh it off in public, and make sure you never ever meet with or bring up any goats or goat-farmers in your time in office?
            B) Constantly praise goats, meet privately with goats, say how great goats are, refuse to implement congressional sanctions on goats, and act in every way like a person who loves goats?

            Trump keeps opting for B...

1.1) Need I remind you of Obama's open mic gaffe? It's difficult for Trump to come across as more blatantly collaborating than that.
            2) Trump knows what gets the press's attention. He LOVES attention.
2.2) Meanwhile other things get done (like a few more judicial nominations) which the press totally misses because they're so laser-focused on making Trump look as bad as possible.

And Trump's encouragement of Germany to stop being dependent on Russia for natural gas (although typically he exaggerated how much they're reliant on them) cannot make Putin happy. If Germany and other European countries bought more from us it would, while not wreck, certainly severely damage the Russian economy.

Likewise pushing Europe to start picking up the slack and start defending themselves is probably going over like a lead balloon in Moscow.

              But Trump is Putin's tool.

Don't let it worry you seer, you'll hear plenty about that side of the report soon enough.

You'll note there's no question mark there, so it's not an ask. It's more of a taunt of the press....
Or a signal. The Russians first attempt at hacking the DNC came the very night of Trumps request to them.

Yes, and I'm sure you'd be taking the same stance if this were Obama instead of Trump.

That or he has nothing and is hoping to drag this on as long as possible in the hopes it leads to a political victory.

You don’t. Obama has as much as a right to fair trials and innocent till proven guilt as the next guy. Unlike you, I don’t define myself by politicians I dislike.
