Thanks for proving Tass's point. All the evidence that's been shown you throughout this investigation and you still say "no evidence."

    • You need better sources. Even if we assume everything the editorial says is true (it's not), and even if we assume there is no exculpatory evidence (there is), nothing your source presents, individually or collective, proves collusion or even the suspicion of collusion. Heck, there's not even enough compelling evidence there to stand up in civil court which only demands a preponderance of evidence, let alone the much higher standard of "beyond a reasonable doubt" of criminal court.

So is there evidence that Trump could have colluded? Sure, in the same sense that my living in a town where a robbery happened is evidence that I could have done it.

      • LOL. Piecing together various unrelated rumors is not evidence, Tassman. It's a witch hunt.

Because it isn't. Show me one bit of actual evidence that Trump was colluding with Russians.

Um, how is the trial of Trump's first Campaign Manager going. You know Manafort, the man who was previously paid by Putin to look after his interests in Ukraine. Not that there's any connection of course...the sheer number of Trump associates with Russian connections is merely a coincidence. Of course it is!

How come you ignore Hillary's Russian connections?

It's circumstantial evidence, and there's a lot of it.

Because they are all international businessmen dealing with... you know... international nations.

No, he is not an international businessman, he's an international political advisor to murderous dictators as well as being a crook and a traitor to the U.S.. Sheesh, you people will come up with the craziest excuses in order to, I don't know what, ease your own consciences maybe.

The prosecution's star witness is not looking especially credible at the moment. So far, he's admitted to lying to a whole bunch of people, embezzling from his boss, and having an affair. We should believe him now (when he's motivated by a plea deal in exchange for taking down his ex-boss) ....why, exactly?

Reminds me of an episode of Ponderosa.

Hoss (I think) is accused of murder, and the testimony of an Indian (Native American) is his only defense.
The prosecution asks the Indian, "isn't it true that you stole a horse from John Wilson...."
                                Indian: "yes, I did"
Prosecution: "and you also stole a horse from Ben Johnson?"
                                Indian: "Yes, sir"
Prosecution: "isn't it true that you have stolen over two dozen horses in the past year?"
Indian: "If that's what they say, that's probably correct".

Prosecution to Defense: "your witness is a HORSE THIEF, sir, and we should believe HIM?"
Indian speaking out of turn: "Sir, I am a horse thief, not a liar, I have answered you honestly about everything you have asked".

(though this is actually not pertinent to the matter at hand )
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.
