I see nothing wrong with it - it's archaic in language but that's not a real problem.

Repeating it fifteen times will lose the 'could praise music please have more substance' crowd - I fall in the middle but this isn't one of the praise songs I find musically interesting enough to put up with the repetition.

It looks like it was taken from a medieval or Renaissance writer and put to music.

Sounds rather Gnostic to me, except for the last word, which even they wouldn't countenance. There is only one Creator. The rest of the vaguely anti-material mumbo-jumbo doesn't much matter, but that sticks out.

I stand somewhat corrected. Some Gnostics (Valentinians) believed in 'creator angels'.
