    Here's my concern: The non-compete agreement is somebody signing an agreement that they will not do it. Even if it's not enforceable, as Christians, do we want to encourage people to break contracts?

      Should people obey an unjust contract? Apparently many of these people don't even know they signed such a thing.

        I suspect it's like checking "I agree" on a UELA - nobody actually reads those things, but you can't use the software or the service if you don't agree.
        The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.
