Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
    The Guarantee…

I know this will be nothing new to you but it is worth repeating. God created us only with eyes in the front of our heads so our “default vision” would be ahead because God is always drawing us forward toward time when all barriers that separate us from him are history. You also know that what lies ahead of us is shrouded by the unknown and in spite of the anxiety of moving forward into the unknown God is insistent that we trust him look and walk forward not backward.

Yet along with his insisting we trust and move forward he provides us with promises not only of his continued support but his ongoing and continuing presence as well. I don’t know about you but God’s promise that I will never move forward alone is John 14:26, “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit —the Father will send Him in My name—will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you.” (John 14:26, HCSB)

This morning while looking forward to writing this morning’s Glory Seed God gave me his Guarantee (better than an ironclad guarantee) that as I move forward into the dark of the unknown I will inherit the blessings I need to successfully move forward through the surrounding darkness into the Light of Jesus. “The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.” (Ephesians 1:14, NLT)

Yet in spite of God’s Guarantee the human in me from time to time looks over my shoulder at what has been and I see overwhelming evidence that God’s Guarantee is as good as his Word!

Therefore with God’s Guarantee may each of us meet and greet the unknown with the assurance that the Holy Spirit moves with us into the waiting Light of Jesus and the wide open arms of God.

    Believe it! Experience it!
    Grace and PEACE!
    Gary

Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.”
