Story on Heavy.com by Jessica McBride quoting Steve Eagar from Fox 4 News who apparently got it from Dallas police. It seems odd that she would enter the apartment and not notice that she was in the wrong one.

And that the key for her apartment happens to unlock her neighbor's door. Something really stinks about all this. My gut tells me there is a LOT more to come out this story and their connection to one another.

As I indicated before, I think even her own police department thinks something is hinky, as they have turned this over to the Texas Rangers. It's not a all unusual for a police department in Texas to turn a case over to the Texas Rangers when they know it's going to be a problem if they investigated it themselves.

I was very pleasantly surprised, as a teenager, to discover that my mailbox key fit perfectly into the ignition switch of a D9 Caterpillar, which I managed to start up and take for a brief joy ride before Sheriff's deputies arrived to ruin the day.

Generic. The officer's account has been questioned but it's unclear to me what alternative course of events would be plausible.
