And your argument against Trump’s dangerous neo-isolationism is......?

The consensus opinion outside of the usual pro-Trump media is that: “Trump is a “fully fledged American isolationist” who has disrupted the international order fostered by the U.S. and its allies after World War Two”

“When the U.S. and the democratic world retreats, they will leave behind a vacuum and that vacuum will be filled by the bad guys.”

“Since taking office, Trump has pulled the U.S. out of international accords on climate change and Iran’s nuclear program, ignited a global trade conflict with key U.S. trading partners including the European Union and publicly slammed allies like Germany for not spending enough on defense”.

I wonder if Bolton’s getting ready to go to war against either North Korea or Iran. Maybe he wants to torture someone. Maybe Trump would like a distraction from the ‘witch hunt’.
Trump teeeting about bombs and rockets and casualties instead of his enormous base would be quite interesting.

How about a new policy: The US helps those who help themselves.

You are such an idiot. Trump is simply playing hardball to get the rest of the world to fall in line. For decades the USA has bent over backwards to appease the rest of the world in military protection, handing over money, in trade agreements. Trump is simply telling them he isn't playing their game any more.

Nah... they appreciate the free handouts and then trash talk us right afterwards. No thank you. If countries want assistance from the US then they should have their own skin in the game.
