    More whining.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Genocide? We don’t care, crimes against humanity? We don’t care, war crimes? We don’t care, crimes of aggression? We don’t care - says the USA.

Nope - you used a contraction instead of a possessive.

ETA: Ah, you fixed in your OP, but not the actual thread title.

So, because you're an extreme leftist anti-American nutter, you think that simply denouncing the ICC means we don't care about all of the above?

“We don’t recognise any authority higher than the US Constitution," Mr Bolton said.

Think about this a minute, FF --- if you were an American citizen, would you want somebody like YOU being in charge of your fate? (I'll not be the least bit surprised if you actually answer in the affirmative)

If you can help CP I would be in your debt.

This is really about holding yourself to the highest standards and setting an example to others. You cannot do that if you say that these rules do not apply to me.

I know you're not an illiterate dummy - just incredibly wrong in your worldview, and I would miss you if you weren't here.

It's not saying "the rules don't apply to me" - it's saying - and he actually spelled this out - that he doesn't trust those governing or applying or enacting the rules.

The "high standards" of allowing countries notorious for human rights abuses to chair, much less sit on, the Human Rights Council?

Thanks for that CP. By coincidence the BBC have just aired the first episode of ‘Black Earth Rising’ this evening. The ICC seems to be an important part of the story about the Rwandan genocide and its aftermath, I think.

Philippe Sands is a interesting voice in this subject area. I will be interested to hear what he says about Bolton.

                            Some context would be helpful.

                              Pretty sure it's this...
