Do you know what the requirements of a top level clearance are OBP? Do you have any way of realistically determining that Clapper didn't meet them (he did or he would have never held the position he had). And have you ever been in a position to determine if a person legitimately deserved (based on real criteria well defined) to have their clearance revoked.

Without that knowledge, you don't know what you are talking about.

And even if you do - you are not using that to evaluate Clapper. You're just spouting off because you don't like what he said about Trump. And for the most part, those sorts of political opinions have very, very little to do with granting or revoking a clearance (Well, at least prior to Trump they had very little to do with granting or revoking a clearance).

Because people with that much experience with a top level clearance are rare, the we, the United States of America, can and do benefit greatly by having access to that experience. It's that simple. Cutting them off over partisan politics and even less valid - personal revenge and an over-inflated ego - is shooting ourselves in the foot.

Likes and dislikes are not the issue. Of course, you will dislike Brennan. The issue is: Where is the evidence of those whose National Security clearance have been revoked revealed or leaked National Security secrets that they are accused of?

It is apparently tRump's likes and dislikes that determine who has security clearance. For example: Michael Flynn still has his security clearance. Why?!?!?!
