Obamacare failed to be overturned because of three "mavericks" in the party. Everyone else lined up. They did manage to kill an important provision with the tax bill, which has resulted in skyrocketing premiums (as predicted). And "the wall" has been under construction for decades now. It was a ridiculous campaign issue. In general, Reps are towing the "Trump" party line, and avoiding saying/doing anything that calls him to account. His approval rating among Republicans is simply too strong - at about 88%.
The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy...returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Martin Luther King
