Tassman is showing his cold hearted bigotry, he wants to discriminate against all those other folks.

You've got a point here, buried in all the polemic. I agree, belief that Trump is controlled by Putin isn't really synonymous with 'deep state'. It is a splendid example of a conspiracy theory, however, which is a label you strongly desire to attach to belief in a deep state.

You can add C for curious, I for intersexual and another P to the one I listed for polysexual.

According to the magazine The Gay UK:

Source: There is now a K in LGBTQQICAPF2K+

This is a new one for us but welcome the Ks

There is now a K to add to the ever-growing LGBT+ acronym – and apparently, it stands for “kink”. The acronym which has grown since the 90s, out of a need to move away from the limiting “gay community” adds letters to encompass any community that defines itself as anything but heterosexual or cisgender.

The LGBT initialism was coined in the late 80s / early 90s.

So what do all the letters mean?

                  L – lesbian

                  G – gay

                  B – bisexual

                  T – transgender

                  Q – queer

                  Q – questioning

                  I – intersex

                  A – asexual

                  A – agender

                  A – ally

                  C – curious

                  P – pansexual

                  P – polysexual

                  F – friends and family

                  2 – two-spirit

                  K – kink

What do all these letters mean?

The LGBT community is a very diverse community that represents a variety of sexual and gender identities. The acronym stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender. However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Another common acronym is LGTBQQIAA, which adds queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and ally. Other acronyms may include an asterisk (*) next to it to symbolize any omitted letters. In order to simplify things, many people use “queer” instead of an acronym as an umbrella term in order to be more inclusive.

So instead of casting shade at you should be aware that it is your own community that is regularly expanding the acronym until it has become an unmanageable jumble. IOW, it's yet another face plant for Tass and starlight.

In reality sexual orientation runs the gamut so to speak. Certain people can't understand or accept that, or think it a sin, oh my, which is why it ends up having to be spelled out for ya'll.

Yes, you appear to think you are educating others on the subject, when it is you who are ignorant.

The acronym has grown and changed over time because thoughtful people who are kind, compassionate, and inclusive didn't want to omit or exclude people and were exploring ways of doing that. By mocking their thoughtfulness and compassion you reveal your own character as having neither.

At this point I would say that the majority of such people recognize both that a lengthy acronym is overly awkward and that there is no consensus about which particular lengthy acronym is preferable, and thus they tend to prefer simpler options like "gender and sexuality diverse" or "LGBT" or "LGBT+". It is a case of language evolving over time, as it tends to do. The terms used for groups do require careful use by kind people though because some terms (e.g. the N-word for blacks, the K-word for Jews, the F-word for gay people etc) give extreme offense. So a modicum of thoughtfulness and kindness should lead to at least some consideration for others in terms of what terms are used to refer to groups. Unfortunately you regularly fail to display those virtues.

After that word salad we are still left with the fact that it is the gay community itself that is turning the acronym into an alphabet soup jumble and to pretend that is somehow 's fault are asinine.

Thanks, have listened to the first couple of hours of it (at 2x speed) and it is quite an interesting account of what important departments of the US government do and the problems that ensued because the Trump transition team either completely failed to appoint people to run them or generally failed to provide policy direction for them.

Makes me glad that in my country there are very few political appointees and civil servants primarily run the govt departments.
