As for the Rosenstein thing, it sounds very much like a joke, but we'll see if an investigation goes anywhere.

Most seem to be likely have been acting fairly independently with the exception of the triumvirate of Peter Strok (Deputy Assistant Director of the Counterintelligence Division in the FBI and who headed that agency's investigation into Hillary Clinton's activities and into Russian interference in the 2016 elections), Andrew McCabe (Deputy Director of the FBI) and Lisa Page (trial attorney on Robert Mueller's team), although it looks like Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein tried to recruit folks into assist him in his quest to bring down Trump -- which puts the lie to his supporter's claims that he was merely sarcastically joking (that and the fact he assured others he was being serious).

Yes, I see conspiracy accusations, but no actual citations of anyone claiming to be a part of a 'Deep State?' conspiracy. All I see is conspiracy theories that have the stench of McCarthyism as reflected in the wishful thinking of 'Sparko.'

Perhaps they should wear badges that say "Deep State", eh?

It goes well beyond accusations when they start boasting of their activities like those on the videos or the "senior official" who wrote the letter published in the New York Times. It goes beyond accusations when you can read for yourself what Strzok-Page-McCabe were writing.

So it doesn't matter what they say or do unless they march around wearing T-shirts with "I'm Part of the Deep State" emblazoned on both the front and back?

Strzok, Page, McCabe, Rosenstein, the anonymous author of the New York Times letter, plus those on video. It seems your ability to add is a bit rusty.

...and those three just happen to belong to a group, the Metro DC Democratic Socialists of America. Does guac really think those are the only three members actively undermining Trump?

That they found any is troubling to me.

I think Shunya is in his own world. I tend to just ignore the spastic comments. Sources! Citation!

I think it is a reflex action on his part.

Are you arguing that the three on the videos were in acting in concert with Strzok, Page, et. al.? To do what now? Actively resist Trump by extending people's food stamps and sending emails on their own time? I get it that there were some senior officials who were resisting/sabotaging Trump. I imagine that there were senior officials sabotaging Obama and flaunting the law, too. That was why I cited Arpaio, for example. During George W. Bush's tenure, there were intelligence officials who spoke off the record and leaked information regarding the administration. I imagine if we were to go back through each presidential administration, we'd find malcontents, uh...rogue elements, if you will, who do not support the administration and who actively seek to thwart administration goals.

I am genuinely confused as to why people think Trump is special in this regard, other than to rally people to his defense.

                                Evidence exists.
