This was an annual gathering of the leaders of countries from around the world at the UN. This year 133 world leaders are attending (of the 195 countries in the world). This was not an audience of normal UN bureaucrats, it was an audience of the leaders of the countries of the world. That is who was laughing at Trump here, not UN bureaucrats or functionaries.

Glad they took the time out of their day to mock Trump while inviting human right abusers to head the human rights commission.

Are you after a complete list of the 133 world leaders who are at this UN event? Or are you wanting video analysis of each one in the audience and how much they laughed (assuming such might exist)?

For what it's worth, my own country's Prime Minister when interviewed by the media afterwards was careful to diplomatically assert that she didn't personally laugh as she had been so focused on listening for policy issues. No one yet seems to have produced video footage disproving her claim, but I am not sure if there were any audience-focused cameras.

Trump was doing his dumb over-exaggerating bragging again. People laughed at him. He had the good sense of humor to chuckle along with them and then continued on.

I agree with the first bit, however he seems to not forgive nor forget slights, so we'll see if anything does come of it in the fullness of time. I do not think that he'll just let it go, tbh, but i may be wrong. But my other opinion is that the speech wasn't really intended for those in the room, but for his audience of supporters at home. Reading through the thread I can see that it resonates with many.

At least us Brits understand the feeling of having your leader be laughed at on the world stage!

The UN's reaction to Trump claiming his Admin has done more than any other Admin in the first two years.

So, watching the video, Trump makes this comment, and you can hear some crowd response, particularly when he says "so true"... he reacts with the comment, with good humor, "didn't expect that response, but that's OK", and there's applause.

Essentially a chuckle becomes reported as being the laughing stock. Reminds me of some of the reporting in Davos. Some news outlets focused on his being booed when he mentioned fake news (leaving out that it came from the press corp itself) while ignoring the rock star reception he got
