My husband, Rational Gaze here at TWeb, wants to pursue a PhD in history. He is about to get his Master's degree this year and will be ready to start on a PhD this coming school year. The original plan was that he would remain at the same university, but it's looking like I won't be able to move in with him after all. We are looking into him moving to the US instead and getting his degree through a university that offers courses online.
Can anyone recommend a good one? We need a reputable university that does not charge an arm and a leg. What should we look for in choosing one? What are some red flags indicating the school is no good?
Any help would be appreciated.
