Well, actually Sheepdog, I am a member of the Church of the Nazarene, which is traditionally Weslyan-Arminian. However, being brought up in the Nazarene church, I didn't have a clue what that meant 'til a couple years ago. (The Nazarene churches that I've gone to haven't been to big on theology.) And since Arminianism isn't as commonly discussed as the heated debate between Calvinism and Open View Theism has been lately, I haven't been able to get a good definition of Arminianism, except by defining it as it relates to other theologies.

However, when I say that I am swinging between Calv. and OV, I am refering to the extremes of the spectrum (Process Theology excluded I suppose) and so that would include Arminianism.

I guess that instead I could just say that I have no clue what I think yet. Hopefully, the upcoming foreknowledge debate will assist me in that.

That's the way it was and we liked it that way!

      Re: My Theology

Exactly! See, I think that this is evidenced in my seemingly perpetual swing between Calvinism and Open View Theism. I can certainly more avidly represent Open View Theism, however, the more I study it the more I am forced to at least respect why Calvinists believe as they do. A lot of this other stuff that Jaltus rambled on about (esp. biology) I was unaware had debated perspectives. . .however, I will ask Jaltus this. . .What is your endochrinological perspective on the roll of physiology as it relates to Molinism in the discussion of "freewill", do we control our hormones, or do they control us?
We know what our hormones would do in any possible world, and therefore we are able to control them to a certain extent via "middle-physiology", but this still allows for the free will of the hormones.

And also walking in 6 feet of snow to school uphill both ways. Right?
      You forgot the barefoot part.

      Wow.. you're old....
Yeah, like older than 19. Does that make you ancient?

I never worked for no $1/wk. Least I ever made was $3.35/hr
