Bush Rating: on a scale from sane to saint
I like Bush. I like his policies. I think he is an honest politician and I believe that he is doing what is best for our country. What do you all think?

I think he is a decent president who wouldn't know diplomacy if it ran him over with his own truck:brow:
Meh.

I like him as a person, but disagree with him on several issues. I guess the second option is closest to my view.
"We live in a culture that has, for centuries now, cultivated the idea that the skeptical person is always smarter than one who believes. You can be almost as stupid as a cabbage, as long as you doubt. The fashion of the age has identified mental sharpness with a pose, not with genuine intellectual method and character...Today it is the skeptics who are the social conformists, though because of powerful intellectual propaganda they continue to enjoy thinking of themselves as wildly individualistic and unbearably bright."

I would want to say a good man and a slightly above average president. we'll see for real in the coming months how good a prez he really is.
As I said before, I voted for his cabinet, not for him.For true conversion, click here.

Bush not only talks about being pro-life, but practises it. E.g. he's promised to sign a ban on the especially grotesque "partial birth abortion", which his impeached predecessor Wilhelm Klinton vetoed. Bush has also refused to spend American tax dollars on overseas programs that promote abortion, especially those who support the coercive population control measures of Communist China (so much for "pro-choice").
Bush also realises that governments should keep out of people's lives as much as possible, unlike the Democrats who think that more government control is the answer to all evils. So he promotes faith-based charity programs, which are far more efficient than government bureacracies, and school vouchers that enable parental choice for their kids' education.

I think G.W. will be the American hero but will need to wait and see what he does.
It is great to see a believer in the White House. It has to be tough to be president and a Christian. I would not want to be in his shoes, but am happy that he is there than say Algore.
PuritanDAhhh... to have Davenant and Ward back to restore the proper definition of Limited Atonement and restore moderation in hyper Calvinism

Yes, you Americans are blessed to have a Christian president you can respect, rather than that Impeached sexoholic prenatal–baby-butcher Wilhelm Klinton.

I think that Bush, like most presidents, forgets the basic principle of accounting that you don't spend money you don't have and can't get.
And I think he is being a little stupid by ignoring North Korea as it aggresively engages our flights."Yes, I'm quite concerned about health care issues surrounding leaked radiation from Japan. Now, please pass me my super sized, bacon double cheeseburger, combo meal..."
When I was young I admired clever people. Now that I'm older I admire kind people.~Rabbi Abraham Heschel
My most recent faith struggle is not one of intellect. I don't really do that anymore. Sooner or later you just figure out there are some guys who don't believe in God and they can prove He doesn't exist, and some other guys who can prove He does exist, and the argument stopped being about God a long time ago and now it's about who is smarter, and honestly, I don't care. ~ Don Miller Blue Like Jazz
