We should just make Florida vote early and turn in all of their results before anyone else. That way they have no incentive to recount when things don't go their way.

Judge Rules In Gov. Scott’s Favor In Broward Elections Records Request

WASHINGTON (CBSMiami/NSF) – A Broward judge has ruled in favor of Gov. Rick Scott and says Broward Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes must “allow immediate” viewing and copying of records that have been requested.

The judge added that it must be completed by 7 p.m.

The lawsuit in Broward filed against Snipes claimed that her office was withholding crucial voter information and has blocked access to the office. At the emergency hearing on Friday, Scott’s lawyers said this was a “simple” case about access to Broward ballots. It’s not about how votes are counted or inspecting ballots.

“This information Supervisor of Elections should have already compiled and saved,” he added, “It should take 10 minutes to do.”

So what happened in 2000 seems in danger of a repeat...

The [Republican] powers that be have made sure Broward county, a big Dem county, has only 1 vote tallying machine meaning it takes a long time to physically get all the ballots counted through the machine. The [Republican] powers that be have made a Florida state law that says if counts aren't done by certain deadlines, the votes from those areas simply don't count. The state now faces 3 state-wide recounts that have been triggered by close elections. So there's going to be the problem that there simply is not going to be enough time to perform the recounts in this county. Last time this happened, 2000, the issue went all the way up to [Republican-dominated] SCOTUS who said, yes stop the recount and thus declare victory for the Republican candidate without counting all the ballots.

So it's worth asking: Why do Republicans hate democracy and hate people being able to vote and have their votes counted? Why are they such evil scum that they do this? A similar type of thing is happening in Arizona where Republicans are suing to stop the recount with the aim of having votes not be counted and thus having victory declared for Republicans without counting all the votes.

I notice that the republicans here are all so concerned about the election process in Fla., but for some reason, Georgia, where the republican candidate is actually in charge of the very election he is running in doesn't seem to bother them at all. If this were happening in a Blue state under democrat control can't you just imagine the reverse uproar coming from these republican hypocrites.

And there is actual evidence of voting corruption in Georgia? Because there is in Florida.

So speaks a foreign National who knows nothing About the State and National Election laws broken by those 2 counties which make the so called "found" votes questionable like allowing over-site they are legally bound to do, and not sending ballots that need to be "cleaned, to the state election board whose legal job is it illegal for the county board to be doing it.

So it's worth asking: Why do Republicans hate democracy and hate people being able to vote and have their votes counted? Why are they such evil scum that they do this? No what is worth asking is why the Democrats who appear to think they are above the law should not be questioned about where those so called "found" ballots really came from and if they are trying to steal the election. Any open minded Intellectual would be asking these questions instead of immediately saying it is the Republicans trying to steal the election. So Starlight you an open minded Intellectual or a bigoted close minded anti intellectual. An Open minded Intellectual would not immediately decide it was the Republicans an open minded intellectual would look at all the facts and make an informed opinion based on those facts.

Turned out it was box of unused provisional ballots... the kind of thing you'd expect to be in a storage area.

Tell us your source for your assertion here that those provisional ballets were unused.

Get the log out of your own hypocritical eye before you talk about any splinters that might be in others JimL. there are proven illegalities in Florida by the Democrats, as I pointed out in my response to Starlight, that you have yet to address.
