I'm sure you'll get it as soon as he provides evidence of his claim from a month or two ago that the women who signed that note about how great a guy Kavanaugh was in high school were contacted well beforehand by a Republican senator and given a pre-written letter.

I suppose I should provide a citation for that. See here. Unless I missed a message, he never backed that up despite several people challenging him to do so.

Poo flinging seldom ever comes with citations - only poo.

Here's the thing: a recount should simply verify that the initial count was correct. If a recount suddenly swings an election then you know something fishy is going on. This whole idea that a recount gives the loser a second chance is pure BS.

Yeah - it's a shame that they tried to hide those ballots to steal the election...

Umm... no. A recount is to ensure that the original count was correctly done. If it was not - then the recount should trap it. If it was, the recount should affirm it. That's the whole premise of a recount.

Or they were filled out after the election.

Yeah - I know what you mean. Republicans will do anything to win a race. It's a bloody shame...

I find this "distrust everyone that isn't us" model to be the real shame. for myself, I trust that any recount will ensure a fair election, and will accept whatever the outcome is. Until I have evidence of fraud - I'm not going to assume that my opponents will stoop to it.

They should have looked in Hillary's closet - they could have found a couple boxes of ballots next to the boxes of Rose Law Firm billing records!

What did your last research-slave die of?

What eventually got revealed was that the Republicans hadn't known in advance of Ford's accusations, they'd known about one of the other women who had contacted both Republicans and Democrats on the committee earlier in the year with her own accusations. So Republicans had many months' warning they might need to play defense on Kavanaugh's interactions with women. Part of that strategy turned out to be having the female sports team he coached sitting behind him, part turned out to be a group of women organized and ready to say how great he was toward women at the drop of a hat and write/sign any letter to that effect. My repetition of other media commentators' observation that the speed with which the letter was produced indicated someone had known about possible accusations beforehand and established a way to produce a speedy response on the subject, turned out to be 100% correct. Republican operatives had indeed known of possible accusations of impropriety toward women appearing and had established a mechanism for a rapid response on that subject as well as preemptive defense.

Actually birdbrain, there was actual corruption in Georgia, there isn't any corruption in Florida, and that's according to the Florida Republican secretary of state as well as law enforcement. In Florida they had until 12:00 today to finish counting and turn in the vote tallies, and that is exactly what was done. Besides, you're a brainwashed doofus who believes whatever Trump tells you so it wouldn't matter if there were actual corruption or not.

If there's a massive swing in vote totals, especially from "found" ballots, then it's a good bet something sketchy is going on.

Rtt, you're an idiot. Election officials didn't all of a sudden find ballots, if the story is true, then a teacher found a box of ballots left behind in a polling place. This is Broward county, highly democratic. Any misplaced ballots in Broward County would benefit the Democrat candidates big time, not the Republican candidates, so get a grip on yourself and stop listening to the conspiracy theorists. Broward County had some hundreds of thousands of absentee ballots come in on Monday, and as the state knew it would, it took time to count them all, which is why they gave all counties until 12:00 today to have them counted and turned in. That's exactly what they did.
