Correct. As I stated above, because she is not an employee, elected official, or political appointee, the worst that can happen to her for mishandling FOUO data is a verbal reprimand.

Because, apparently it was just her and her family's schedule, which she shared with her nanny. She's never been involved with government information handling, so why would she have worried about her own schedule?

I am not surprised that so many on the right are rallying to her defense...

Not "rallying to her defense" as much as shooting down any notion that this is morally equivalent to Hillary's crimes and that Republicans should be just as incensed at Ivanka as we are at Hillary. It's like the difference between forgetting to pay for an item at the checkout and grand larceny.

It would have been a joke if the server had any security at all. I have little doubt that foreign governments were reading Hillary's emails before she even knew they were in her inbox.

Most of the family is "unpaid," as far as I know. Why on earth would anyone care about a few hundred thousand when they are in a position to make millions based on their office? And there is "paid" and there is "paid." I am pretty sure that Trumps regular excursions to his properties have cost the U.S. government more in not yet 2 years than all eight years of any prior president. We also have no clue just how the Trump family is being enriched by their various offices because there is no access to tax records. We have certainly seen widespread corruption on this front from various appointees.
