  • George Washington Was a Master of Deception

I thought this was interesting, particularly in light of the thread (I can't find it right now) where we were discussing if it's ever acceptable for a Christian to lie.

I introduced the fact that we "lie" all the time in warfare - and referenced the thinking that "it's OK to lie to the enemy".

Hence, the article George Washington Was a Master of Deception

The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Washington was referred to by his own secret code number (711)

Maybe he was just expanding a little on Mark 9:41

I recommend you do not try too hard and ...research as little as possible. Such weighty things give me a headache. - Shunyadragon, Baha'i apologist
