Since the article notes that speeches given to minority audiences are more rare from the right than the left, it's entirely possible this is a sampling error. It is also entirely possible that the consistent denial that racism exists by the right shields them, to some degree, from this effect. That is to say, the left tends to over-compensate. Without more information I have no idea which is true, or if there is another possibility.
